Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Assessment & Evaluation
The therapist reviews your medical history, observes function and movement, and performs standardized tests to identify needs and set goals. A personalized plan is then recommended.
Initial assessments usually last 45–90 minutes depending on complexity and whether multiple areas (physical, cognitive, sensory) are evaluated.
Referrals are helpful but not always required. Check with your clinic or insurance—many clients self-refer for occupational or hand therapy.
Pediatric Therapy
We provide developmental assessments, sensory integration therapy, fine motor and handwriting support, play-based interventions, and school readiness programmes.
Parents are partners: we teach home strategies, observe sessions, and set family-centered goals to support progress outside the clinic.
Early intervention is beneficial. If you notice delays in motor skills, feeding, attention, or sensory reactions, consider an assessment regardless of age.
Rehabilitation & Recovery
Yes—our rehab programs include goal-based therapy, ADL training, adaptive equipment, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to improve independence.
Hand therapy treats injuries, fractures, tendon repairs, nerve injuries and chronic conditions to restore motion, strength, and function through targeted exercises and splinting.
Recovery timelines vary by condition and individual goals. Your therapist will provide an estimated plan and milestones during the assessment.
